Food Bank Locations
The Bledsoe County Community Food Bank is a Christian based community food bank giving food assistance to anyone in Bledsoe County in need. We are partners with the Chattanooga Area Food Bank and several local churches and organazations.
During the Holidays we have a holiday meal give away which is always appreciated by our clients.
Bledsoe County Food Bank

Every Thursday from 10am-12pm for people with handicaps only.
Open on Thursday from 2pm-5pm for everyone.
Samson Free Will Baptist Church

Distributes every first Saturday of the month from 9AM-10:30AM.
House of Prayer
10161 Summer City Road, Spring City, TN.
Distributes every 3rd Saturday of the month from 11am-1pm central time.
Business Hours
Our priority is to ensure the safty of those we serve and our staff. If you are sick let us know before coming into the building and we can bring the food out to you.
We are open for food distrabution on Thursdays from 2-5 PM. When you drive up to the Food Bank park your car. We would appreciate it if only one member of each family comes into the food bank. You will be directed to the registration desk and your information will be checked. Make sure you have your picture ID. You then will go down a line where you can choose the food you want in your box. Make sure you have room in your car for the boxes of food.
We now have 3 distribution sites: Pikeville, Samson Free Will Baptist Church and Frostbite House of Prayer. For information call us and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. If picking up food for another client please have their ID with you or we won’t be able to give you their food. You must have your picture ID when picking up food for yourself.
Our phone messages are monitored on a regular basis so if you have an emergency or need information on other distrabution sites leave a message and we will get back with you.
Helping Our Cause
We are graciously supported by and grateful for donations from individuals, businesses, churches and grants. We are also supported by the Chattanooga Area Food Bank.
Donations take many forms…from canned goods to financial support but we would also like to provide fresh fruits and vegetables. If you or your organization would like to help us help our community, please come by the food bank during operational hours or contact us at 423-447-3325 . A representative from the food bank will return your call. Thank you!
Volunteers
The Bledsoe County Community Food Bank was founded on the idea of helping those in need. Ever since our organization was established, we have endeavored to provide help where the need is greatest.
Our team is made up entirely of volunteers. We advocate for those who need our help. Even a little help goes a long way.
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that are working for us.
And, we are always looking for new volunteers who share our commitment to doing good in the world. Do you want to support us by helping with our work? Then do not hesitate to contact us. A helping hand is always greatly appreciated!

We are open on Wednesdays starting at 7AM when we are unloading and stocking on Wednesdays but can’t guarentee how long we will be there but if you wish to drop off food we can take it then. We do not distribute food on Wednesdays. We are usually there until 7 or 9 AM. We are open for distribution in Pikeville from 2PM to 5PM every Thursdays. We are open the first Thursday of the month from 10am-12pm for handicaped customers only. If the weather is bad or close to a holiday call and make sure we are open before you come.
We are closed in Pikeville the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas.
